RICHARDSON BATTLES TO ANOTHER TOP 5 FINISH

Bakersfield, CA Brian Richardson finished in 2nd place in the 75
Lap
Late Model Main Event at Mesa Marin Raceway on Saturday Night.
Richardson started in the 5th position on the grid and quickly moved into
the lead by the 4th Lap. While his team mate Eric Richardson qualified
2nd and started in the 8th position on the grid. Eric moved steadily up
through the field with some exciting door to door racing. By lap 52 Eric
Richardson was in 3rd place and Brian Was in the lead. After contact on |

the front straight Eric Richardson was sent to the back of the field. Eric
was moving up fast and definitely had
the car to beat. Brian Richardson had some competition by lap 70 with the
55 car right behind him.
Richardson blocked middle and the low side to make it as hard as possible
for the 55 to pass him. It ended up
being a drag race for the finish with Richardson coming up a few feet
short.
Richardson is in the lead for the Late Model Championship with 5
wins and a Mesa Marin Track Record. |
