Bakersfield, Ca David Hutchins drove his NATURES
SUNSHINE Street Stock to a 4th WIN in the Winston
Racing Series Street Stock Division at Mesa Marin
Raceway on Saturday Night in the first race of the
twin 20's. Hutchins started in the 16th position on the
racing grid of the 22. When the flag dropped Hutchins
pulled to the outside and passed 7 cars in the first
lap. He quickly moved up through the field and by the
middle of the race he was in the lead. Hutchins pulled
away, but at the end of the race Greg Puskarich was
coming strong in his Rich-Pak Mortorsports Street
Stock to finish 2nd. When asked about his great start
Hutchins said, " I went to the outside all the way to |

the wall and drove it in as
far as I could in the first turn." Hutchins finished 5th in the
second race after starting
the race from the back. Puskarich finished 3rd in the same race.
Hutchins is in lead for the 2003 Mesa Marin Raceway Street Stock
Championship with 4 WINS, 2 POLES, 11
top 5, and 12 top 10. Hutchins was 2nd in points in the Street Stock
Division in 2002. |
