CA (Nov.18, 2004) Rich Pak Motorsports had a great year in
2004. Eric Richardson finished 3rd in the NASCAR Late Model
Weekly Racing Series at Mesa Marin Raceway with 1 WIN, 5 top
5's, and 9 top 10's. Greg Puskarich won the Mesa Marin Raceway
Street Stock Championship with 6 WINS in the 2004 Season and a
WIN in the October Classic Street Stock Race. Rich Pak fielded
a NASCAR Grand National West Series Car with Brian Richardson
as driver for a few races this year. Brian Richardson also won
3 Late Model Races at Mesa Marin for Rich Pak in the beginning
of the 2004 Season after winning the Championship in 2003.
Eric Richardson the 18 year old from Bakersfield, California
attends Bakersfield College full time and is majoring in
Agriculture Business. Richardson plans on following in his
Grandfather's and Father's footsteps in the farming business.
The Richardson Family Owns Rich Pak which is one of the
largest producers of stone fruit in California.
Eric Richardson started his racing career in 2002 by running a
Late Model full time and coming away with Rookie of the Year
honors at Mesa Marin. In 2003 Richardson finished 5th in
points in the Mesa Marin NASCAR Late Model Division with 1
WIN.
Gary Collins is Rich Pak's race program director. Collins is
the owner of Collins Motorsports and is well know for driving
and building NASCAR's. Collins built the prototype Craftsman
Truck that persuaded NASCAR to start the Craftsman Truck
Series. Richardson drives a G-Force car designed and built by
Gary Collins and sponsored by Green Frog Markets and Richland
Chevrolet.
The Rich Pak Team is preparing for the 2005 Season. Eric
Richardson feels that with a little luck and a lot of hard
work he will win the 2005 Mesa Marin Late Model Championship.
He has the maturity and is very patient which will help him go
far in racing. Richardson is a very focused young man who
knows what he has to do to be Successful in Life and Racing. |
